Stoller's and Freeman squared off at Alice Nobile Ice Arena on Sunday, October 4, 2026, and the evening saw Freeman come out on top 1–2. Rob Klosowski drew first blood for Freeman in the 2nd period, setting the tone for a tight-checking affair.

Period by period: the 1st period was scoreless, much to the delight of both goaltenders; Freeman took the 2nd period by a 1–0 count; the teams traded 1 apiece in the 3rd period.

Elsewhere: Ben Mahas gets the game-winner credited to their name, courtesy of the 3rd period; shots finished Stoller's 39, Freeman 16 — the Freeman netminder was the busier of the two; Freeman made themselves a little too familiar with the penalty box (0–2).
