Built-rite and Capstone squared off at Alice Nobile Ice Arena on Sunday, October 18, 2026, and the evening saw Capstone come out on top 2–3. Casey McGrady drew first blood for Capstone in the 1st period, setting the tone for a lively night of scoring.

Period by period: Capstone took the 1st period by a 2–0 count; Built-rite took the 2nd period by a 2–1 count; the 3rd period was scoreless, much to the delight of both goaltenders. Capstone managed the night's only back-to-back tallies.

On the scoresheet, Noah Baer (0G, 2A) chipped in multi-point nights. The rest of the roster contributed moral support and timely line changes.

Elsewhere: Andrew Sujia gets the game-winner credited to their name, courtesy of the 2nd period; shots finished Built-rite 24, Capstone 20 — the Capstone netminder was the busier of the two.
